y Improvement of overall power factor of the plant resulted in additional savings at the steel plant. (E) Outlook for the current financial year Going into FY 2026–27, KFIL is well-positioned to capitalise on sustained demand from the automotive, tractor, and capital goods sectors, supported by planned capacity expansion and continued focus on value-added casting products. The Company will continue to strengthen its
Oliver engineering FY2026 marked a significant milestone for KFIL with the acquisition and integration of Oliver Engineering's Rajpura facility into the Company's manufacturing ecosystem. Following the commencement of production in October 2024, the facility witnessed a strong operational ramp-up during the year, supported by 14 product approvals and the ongoing commissioning of a fully equipped machine shop. Demand for castings, I think over the many months now and especially now it has been very strong from all the sectors, tractors, automobile as well as the earthmoving equipment, stationary engines, every sector is improving. I would say that this will give us the support to get the price corrections done because of the commodity price increase, other price increases. I expect realization improvement substantially com
Securing new customer approvals for further growth has been the main driver during the year and the Company continues the efforts in on-boarding new customers to the business. These developments reflect the Company’s continued focus on customer diversification, export growth and strengthening long term strategic relationships. y Jambunatha mines in the state of Karnataka The Company has been declared as a preferred B
During the quarter, we improved sales realization on pig iron and we could hold the sales realization on castings, whereas the tube product mix, we could not hold on to the sales realization. We had to sell more of line pipes in the absence of high realizing export orders as well as realizing oil and gas tubes. We continue to work on our all the projects.
And we have created good capacity like 1,250 metric tons per month. And we are confident the capacities are getting booked faster. And we are also working whether we can expand in other location, one more 2-part foundry as the capacity requirement comes up, we will work on that.
We achieved an annualised run rate of approximately 1.89 Lakh metric tonnes of tube sales—the first major milestone we had set for this business when we acquired ISMT. At that volume, the business generates meaningful operating leverage. How is KFIL thinking about capacity expansion across pig iron, castings, tubes, and steel over the next 2-3 years?
These initiatives contribute to reductions in Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen energy security, and support our long-term decarbonisation ambitions. The inclusion of the iron ore mining operations, which support the Company's backward integration strategy, has increased operational resource consumption without a commensurate increase in revenue. Additionally, Oliver Engineering's operations have been incl
I think next year, next to next year, capex would be higher than this year. Another thing also keep in mind that we are not going to have aggressive spend on green power because now there are so many regulatory things. We can't expand anymore unless we put substantial investment into battery.
